Finding your “North Star” is the core of your brand purpose. Brand purpose is important because it shows your customers that you stand for something bigger than the products you sell. Having a clear, defined raison d’être makes your brand shine for its essence.
There are one or more people standing for a dream behind the brand. Entrepreneurs who decided to fight for something bigger than themselves and would give anything for their dream. Brand purpose is the heart of your brand. This is the epicenter of your organization. This is the focal point from which energy flows into your vision. -Where do you see your brand in the future?- Your mission is how you’re going to go from your purpose to your vision. In other words, the mission is the vehicle.
The reason I decided to start my business is that I never understood why women had to choose between their professional and personal lives. It seemed to me that if you were a mom, you had to decide where to put your energy. If you chose the family, your professional life would be put on hold. Why choose between one thing and another? Why can’t we have it all? I do not accept that it should be because society demands it. Then, why not make your passion a job?
Through my experience creating my brand, I have seen that it is possible to live from a passion. Now I want to help other women make it. And I am extremely confident that when you are happy giving everything for your passion it creates a halo of harmony and wellbeing for those who surround you. And that helps make the world a better place.
To conclude, I leave you with the purpose of APPLE. “We believe that people with passion can change the world for the better”. Now that I realize it, this purpose is kind of like mine, Oops… I hope, my brand will be as strong as Apple’s one day. 😉
